The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a beam steering mirror system and method (400) with compliant amplification mechanism (102) for high-amplification stroke enhancement. The beam steering mirror system includes linear displacement actuator for producing axial input displacement. The compliant amplification mechanism (102) includes end-mounting blocks forming a fixed boundary of the compliant amplification mechanism (102), symmetric double-bridge configuration comprising two mirrored bridge halves arranged one above the other, circular notch hinges (106) disposed at junctions of inclined beam segments (104). The beam steering mirror system includes spherical flexure for transmitting amplified transverse output displacement and off-axis loads to protect the linear displacement actuator. The beam steering mirror system includes a central multi-axis flexure for supporting mirror mount platform and act as rotational fulcrum for tip and tilt motions while providing stiffness in out-of-plane and lateral directions to maintain first modal frequency around 1 KHz and above.
