Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a beam indication method, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: receiving first information sent by a first network device, wherein the first information triggers a terminal device to execute handover to a target cell, and the first network device is a network device corresponding to a current serving cell of the terminal device; determining a first transmission configuration indication (TCI) state on the basis of the first information, wherein the first TCI state indicates a first beam, and the first beam is a beam used in the process of the terminal device executing the handover to the target cell; and determining a second TCI state, wherein the second TCI state indicates a second beam, the second beam is a beam used by the terminal device after handover to the target cell, and the second TCI state is the same as or different from the first TCI state. In this way, the terminal device can determine the second beam used after handover to the target cell, so that the terminal device hands over to the target cell and communicates by means of the target cell, thereby improving the handover success rate and the communication efficiency.
