Abstract: “BATTERY TRAY FOR A VEHICLE” A polymeric battery tray (2) for holding a LV battery (1) in a vehicle, comprising, a top surface to receive the LV battery (1); a bottom surface in contact with a support bracket (3) mounted on the vehicle; a plurality of guide pins (7) provided on the bottom surface, wherein at least a pair of the guide pins (7) are diagonally opposite to each other; and at least one arrester (9) configured on the bottom surface, which is proximal to an edge of the battery tray (2), wherein the at least one arrester (9) is provided with a snap-fit assembly coupled to an opening evacuation tube (10) provided in the support bracket (3) upon guide the battery tray (2) on the support bracket (3); wherein the at least one arrester (9) restricts movement of the battery tray (2) in horizontal plane.
