Abstract: BATTERY SWAPPING FOR THREE-WHEELED ELECTRIC VEHICLES A method for swapping a battery in a three-wheeled electric vehicle using an Easy Swapping Station (ESS) is disclosed. The method includes positioning the electric vehicle at a battery terminus of a battery compartment and opening a compartment door to receive a trolley. A drained battery is transferred from the electric vehicle to the trolley using cooperating sets of rollers provided on the trolley and the electric vehicle. The trolley carrying the drained battery is moved into the battery compartment, the drained battery is connected to a charging circuit, and the compartment door is closed. A charge control unit transmits a unique code to a battery management system of the drained battery to enable charging. Another battery compartment containing a fully charged battery is opened, a trolley carrying the fully charged battery is moved outward, and the fully charged battery is transferred to the electric vehicle using the cooperating sets of rollers.
