Abstract: The present invention provides a battery module (10) capable of detecting electrolyte leakage, comprising: a housing (100) comprising a main frame (110) including a bottom (112), and a first end frame (120) and a second end frame (130) respectively covering both ends of the main frame (110) in a first direction; one or more battery cells (200) arranged in the inner space (V) of the housing (100); and a first leakage sensor (300) disposed on the upper surface of the bottom (112) and sensing electrolyte leaking from the one or more battery cells (200). The main frame (110) may further include a first notch (115) formed at one end of the bottom (112) in the first direction and connecting an upper portion and a lower portion of the bottom (112) to discharge the leaked electrolyte to the outside. The first leakage sensor (300) may be disposed adjacent to the first notch (115) and may be located inward of the main frame (110) relative to one end of the first notch (115) in the first direction.
