Abstract: A battery diagnostic method according to the present invention comprises: a first generation step of dividing, into a first part corresponding to a first material and a second part corresponding to a second material, a first profile indicating a correspondence relationship between battery state of charge (SOC) and voltage, thereby generating a second profile in which the first part is removed from the first profile; a second generation step of generating, on the basis of the second profile, a third profile in which the correspondence between the battery SOC and voltage is estimated in the entire SOC range of the battery; and a diagnosis step of calculating, on the basis of the third profile, the capacity provided by the first material from the total capacity provided by the electrode active material, and diagnosing the battery on the basis of the calculated capacity.
