The battery cell casing comprises a casing body (1) and a pressure relief mechanism (2); a through hole (20) is formed in the casing body (1); the pressure relief mechanism (2) is arranged in the through hole (20); the pressure relief mechanism (2) comprises an adhesive film (21) and a cover piece (22); the cover piece (22) is bonded to the casing body (1) by means of the adhesive film (21) and covers the through hole (20); the adhesive film (21) can be heated and melted to form a pressure relief channel communicating the interior and the exterior of the casing body (1); the bonding area of the cover piece (22) and the casing body (1) is A, and the cross-sectional area of the through hole (20) covered by the cover piece (22) is B, wherein 1.778=A/B=16.361.
