Abstract: A battery cell according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly in which a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator arranged therebetween are wound around a winding axis to define a core and the outer circumferential surface, the first electrode including a first uncoated portion which is not coated with an active material layer in a winding direction; a housing having an opening portion on one side thereof and configured to accommodate the electrode assembly through the opening portion; a current collector including an edge portion arranged above the electrode assembly, an uncoated portion-coupling portion extending inward from the edge portion and coupled to the first uncoated portion, and a terminal coupling portion spaced apart from the uncoated portion- coupling portion, located at a central portion, and exposed to the outside of the housing; a terminal which is exposed to the outside of the housing through a closed portion of the housing, and coupled to the terminal coupling portion, the closed portion being located opposite to the opening portion; and a terminal block configured to be coupled to the inner side of the current collector.
