Abstract: A bag carrying assistive for arthritis patients, comprising of, a C-shaped body 101 having an upper portion incorporated with a handle 102 to be gripped by a user, a U- shaped member 103 assembled with plurality of pneumatic hooks 104 for securely holding multiple bags, a weight sensor is integrated in the body 101 for monitoring weight of the held bags, an extendable rod 105 arranged at back portion of the body 101 to provide an additional support, a motion sensor installed in the body 101 for detecting the user’s hand movement, a motorized ball and socket joint 107 arranged in between the lower and upper portion for providing controlled movement, a strain sensor is installed in the handle 102 for detecting strain experienced on the user’s hand and arms, a pole 109 in sync with an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 110 integrated in the body 101 to provide added support.
