MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517062323 A) filed by Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co. on June 30, 2025, for Backlight Module And Liquid Crystal Display.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present application are a backlight module and a liquid crystal display. A thermal insulator is added to at least one of a light source layer, a quantum dot layer and an optical film layer, wherein the thermal conductivity coefficient of the thermal insulator is less than the thermal conductivity coefficient of the light source layer, quantum dot layer or optical film layer where the thermal insulator is located.
