Abstract: Provided is a backlight module, comprising: a backplane; a light guide plate located on the backplane, wherein the light guide plate comprises a first light-incident surface, a second light-incident surface and a light-emergent surface; light sources including a first light source and a second light source, wherein the first light source and the second light source are respectively located on two sides of the light guide plate in a first direction, a light-emergent surface of the first light source is arranged facing the first light-incident surface, and a light-emergent surface of the second light source is arranged facing the second light-incident surface; a first side frame extending in a second direction and located on the side of the first light source facing away from the light guide plate, wherein the first side frame is connected to the side of the backplane facing away from the first light source; and a second side frame extending in the second direction and located on the side of the second light source facing away from the light guide plate, wherein the second side frame is connected to the side of the backplane facing away from the second light source; and the orthographic projection of the first side frame on the backplane is spaced apart from the orthographic projection of the first light source on the backplane, and the orthographic projection of the second side frame on the backplane covers at least a portion of the orthographic projection of the second light source on the backplane.
