Inventors include Rajeev Ranjan; Ambrish; and P Gowri Shankar.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an axial compressor for continuous wind tunnel. The compressor comprising of: inlet bell mouth (SB1), Central casing (CC1), exit dome (ED1), Hollow shaft (R), rotating blades of stage l (Rl), rotating blades of stage2 (R2), rotating blades of stage3 (R3), rotating blades of stage4 (R4), Stator blades of stage l (S1), Stator blades of stage2 (S2), Stator blades of stage3 (S3), Stator blades of stage4 (S4), Inlet guide vanes (I1), Disc for stage l rotor (Dl), Disc for stage2 rotor (D2), Disc for stage3 rotor (D3), Disc for stage4 rotor (D4), Inlet bell mouth casing, tapered casing, exit dome for casing are assembled for smooth flow of air. Further, it involves the advantages of reduced randomness of air to minimize the energy losses and enhancement in the efficiency of entire axial compressor. (Figure 1)
