Abstract: The present invention discloses a novel functional cupcake formulation incorporating avocado and dark chocolate, developed to support the dietary needs of individuals with hypertension. The cupcake comprises avocado pulp (50% by weight), dark chocolate (50% by weight), and other ingredients such as wheat flour, sugar, and baking agents. Avocado provides potassium, dietary fiber, and healthy monounsaturated fats, while dark chocolate contributes flavonoids and antioxidants beneficial for cardiovascular health. The developed cupcake was subjected to nutritional analysis and sensory evaluation, showing values of energy (252^47 kcal/100 g), carbohydrates (44.76 g/100 g), protein (4.97 g/100 g), fat (5.95 g/100 g), and potassium (246.28 mg/100 g). The product demonstrated good sensory acceptability in terms of taste, texture, and overall quality, thereby providing a nutritious and functional bakery product suitable for individuals with hypertension.
