Abstract: ABSTRACT: Autonomous System for Precision Lesion-Targeted Biostimulant Deposition to Induce Plant Immunity This invention describes an autonomous, artificial intelligence-driven agricultural apparatus and method for inducing systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in plants through precision-targeted delivery of insect-derived biostimulants is disclosed. The system acquires high-resolution imagery of plant foliage and employs semantic segmentation to identify disease lesion boundaries at sub-leaf resolution. Detected lesions are transformed into real-world spatial coordinates, enabling selective actuation of deposition emitters aligned with infected regions. A chitin- containing insect-derived biostimulant, including frass or exuviae, is conveyed in particulate form and electrostatically deposited exclusively onto pathological interfaces. Deposition parameters are dynamically modulated based on an infection severity index derived from pixel-level analysis. The targeted application enhances plant immune signaling by maximizing receptor-mediated recognition of chitin at infection sites while minimizing treatment of healthy tissue. The invention improves resource efficiency, reduces environmental impact, and provides a scalable, precision- based solution for sustainable crop disease management.
