Abstract: [049] The present invention discloses an autonomous solar panel maintenance and weather-adaptive tracking robot system integrating a mobile maintenance platform, photovoltaic tracking actuator, environmental and panel-condition sensors, and an intelligent controller. The controller fuses weather, irradiance, electrical, optical, thermal, positional, and maintenance-history information to generate zone-specific condition states and to select tracking and maintenance actions. A suspected contaminated zone can receive a limited verification cleaning, after which normalized panel response is evaluated to distinguish recoverable soiling from a probable electrical, thermal, or structural fault. The tracking orientation is adaptively selectable for energy harvesting, wind stowing, rain-assisted cleaning, thermal protection, or robot maintenance access. Maintenance tasks are prioritized according to predicted recoverable energy, weather, travel cost, available robot energy, and safety constraints. Dynamic return-to-dock reserve, local obstacle response, selective cleaning modality, variable cleaning pressure, and predictive condition history enable autonomous operation with reduced unnecessary cleaning and improved fault discrimination.
