Abstract: The present invention relates to an Autonomous Sensor Calibration System Using AI-Based Reference Pattern Recognition for improving the reliability and accuracy of sensor measurements in electronic and instrumentation systems. The system comprises a sensor under calibration, a reference-condition unit, a signal acquisition and conditioning unit, a reference pattern database, an AI- based reference pattern recognition module, a deviation analysis module, a calibration parameter determination module, a calibration adjustment unit, and a calibration verification module. The system acquires a sensor response corresponding to a known reference condition and converts the acquired response into a suitable pattern representation. The Al-based reference pattern recognition module analyses the sensorresponse pattern and determines its correspondence with an expected reference pattern. Based on the identified deviation, the system determines an appropriate calibration parameter and automatically applies a correction to the sensor output. Following correction, the sensor response is reacquired and compared with the reference pattern to verify the effectiveness of the calibration. Historical calibration information may further be stored and used for identifying progressive changes in sensor behaviour. The system thereby provides a closed-loop and substantially autonomous calibration mechanism capable of addressing sensor drift, response variation, and changing sensor characteristics while reducing dependence on manual calibration procedures. The invention is applicable to temperature, pressure, flow, level, humidity, gas, vibration, and other sensors used in industrial automation, process control, environmental monitoring, smart instrumentation, IoT, and other measurement applications.
