Abstract: The present invention discloses an autonomous self-healing bearing system (100) with embedded acoustic edge-ai and active lubrication feedback and method thereof. The system (100) comprises a bearing assembly (102), at least one acoustic sensing unit (104), a processing unit (106), a lubricant delivery unit (108), and a control unit (110). The acoustic sensing unit (104) detects acoustic emission signals generated during operation of the bearing assembly (102), and the processing unit (106) analyzes the acoustic emission signals to determine a condition of the bearing assembly (102). Upon detection of a distress condition or lubrication requirement, the control unit (110) actuates the lubricant delivery unit (108) to selectively supply lubricant to the bearing assembly (102). The system (100) may further comprise a communication module (112) configured to transmit bearing condition information and an auxiliary mitigation unit (114) configured to perform additional corrective actions.
