Abstract: The present invention relates to an autonomous robotic system for real-time structural health monitoring of bridge expansion joints, which provides an autonomous mobile robotic platform integrated with an inertial measurement unit (IMU), a laser displacement measurement module, a vision inspection module, a processing and control unit, a navigation and localization module, a positioning module, and an environmental monitoring module. The robotic platform autonomously traverses the bridge expansion joint while continuously acquiring synchronized vibration, oscillation, displacement, visual, positional, and environmental data. The acquired data are synchronized through a sensor synchronization interface and processed by a structural health data acquisition module to generate time-correlated structural information. The processing and control unit performs integrated analysis of the synchronized sensor data to evaluate the dynamic and kinematic behavior of the bridge expansion joint, detect structural anomalies, assess joint condition, and identify potential deterioration.
