The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is an autonomous robotic system (100) for real-time defect detection and desilting of urban sewage pipelines. The system comprises a waterproof camera module (104), LED illumination unit (106), Magnetic Flux Leakage sensor (108), IMU (110), wheel encoders (112), processing and control module (114), actuation module (126), mechanical system (138), communication module (148), operator station (150), and power supply module (152). The processing and control module (114) coordinates visual inspection, MFL sensing, obstacle detection, navigation, adaptive suspension, desilting, camera-lens cleaning, data logging and wireless communication. The MFL sensor (108) detects magnetic-field variations associated with discontinuities in ferromagnetic pipeline walls, while the waterproof camera module (104) provides visual inspection information. The adaptive spring-loaded suspension mechanism (146) maintains wheel contact over variations in pipeline geometry. The rotary desilting brush assembly (142) removes sediment and debris, and the camera lens cleaning mechanism (144) restores image visibility when required. Inspection information is stored by the system monitoring and data logging unit (124) and can be transmitted to the operator station (150).
