Abstract: Autonomous Multi-Modal AI System for Real-Time Stress Detection And Adaptive Mental Wellness Support The present invention relates to an autonomous artificial intelligence-based mental wellness support system for real-time stress detection and adaptive emotional assistance. The system continuously and non-invasively collects multi-modal behavioural and contextual interaction signals including typing dynamics, speech characteristics, sleep-related indicators, and textual emotional reflections associated with a user. Individual behavioural modalities are independently processed to generate modality-specific stress values, which are combined through a weighted stress fusion engine to compute a unified overall stress score. Based on the computed stress condition, an autonomous intervention decision engine automatically initiates context-aware intervention strategies without manual triggering. The system further utilizes a large language model to generate emotionally supportive conversational responses and incorporates reinforcement learning-based adaptation using user feedback to personalize intervention strategies over time. A persistent memory framework stores behavioural data, intervention history, and feedback records for longitudinal behavioural analysis and continuous adaptive learning.
