Abstract: ABSTRACT AUTONOMOUS KUSHA GRASS CUTTING ROBOT The present invention relates to an autonomous, solar-powered grass cutting robot designed for efficient removal of unwanted Kusha grass in agricultural fields. The system comprises a solar panel configured to generate electrical energy, a battery pack for energy storage, a controller board for processing data and controlling operations, a motor driver for actuating drive motors, an ESP32-CAM module for real-time image acquisition, and a motorized cutting mechanism mounted on a mobile chassis. The robot utilizes image processing and artificial intelligence techniques to distinguish unwanted grass from crop plants and selectively activate the cutting mechanism without damaging the crops. It further incorporates obstacle detection and autonomous navigation capabilities, enabling efficient field coverage with minimal human intervention. The integration of solar energy ensures sustainable operation and reduced dependency on external power sources. The system enhances agricultural productivity by reducing manual labor, improving precision in weed removal, and enabling continuous operation under varying environmental conditions. The invention provides a cost-effective, eco-friendly, and scalable solution for smart farming applications.
