The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to an autonomous, IoT-enabled material handling trolley designed for industrial and warehouse environments. The trolley integrates ultrasonic or LiDAR-based obstacle detection, load-cell weight measurement, differential motor drive, and a microcontroller-based navigation system capable of following predefined paths or QR-coded floor markers. An IoT communication module transfers real-time operational data, including load weight, battery condition, and travel history, to a cloud dashboard. A predictive maintenance algorithm analyses load cycles, motor signatures, and structural stress indicators to estimate component fatigue. The invention provides a cost-effective, modular, and intelligent alternative to traditional trolleys and complex AGVs, thereby improving efficiency, safety, and automation.
