The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (102) for industrial inspection and hazardous environment monitoring. The system (102) includes a control unit (104), a sensing unit (106), a mobility unit (108), an articulation unit (110), a communication unit (114), and a data storage (226). The control unit (104) constructs an environment map using simultaneous localization and mapping based on sensor data and determines an autonomous navigation path. The control unit (104) generates mobility and articulation control information for traversing uneven industrial terrain and obstacles. Ranging data, thermal imaging data, and hazardous-substance detection data are spatially associated with locations in the environment map to generate a unified hazard map. The control unit (104) detects anomalies, determines locations of the anomalies, and updates the autonomous navigation path based on the locations. Alerts and hazard-map information are transmitted through the communication unit (114), and inspection data are stored in the data storage (226).
