Abstract: The present invention relates to an autonomous, battery-less grid monitoring system configured to detect electrical abnormalities and autonomously transmit location- specific alerts using energy harvested from the detected abnormality. A multi-conductor analog vector summation core (101) concurrently encompasses phase conductors and a neutral conductor, wherein substantially balanced currents produce substantially cancelled magnetic flux and maintain the system in an inactive, near- zero standby-power state (102). An abnormal current asymmetry generates an unbalanced net magnetic flux (103), inducing an AC voltage through a secondary winding (104). The induced voltage is rectified and increased by a diode multiplier array (105) to charge a micro-supercapacitor array (106). A threshold comparator (107) isolates a wireless communication module (108) until a predefined energy threshold is reached. The stored energy then activates the wireless module to execute a single wireless transmission (109) containing an asset identifier, after which the system returns to an inactive state (110). The system eliminates continuous standby power and battery dependence.
