Abstract: An autonomous device for responding to disasters, comprising a cuboidal structure as a rover, a BLDC motors driven wheels 102 via extendible legs 103, to enable high torque for navigating over debris, an AI camera 104 for a 360 degree view of disaster area , a thermal camera 105 for detect heat signatures from humans, animals, fires, or machinery, a first probe 106 with an extraction chamber 109, and a drill 108 to enable collection of surface and subsurface soil samples from areas affected by chemical spills, landslides, industrial accidents, or earthquake debris, a second probe 110 with a collection chamber 112 to enable collection of water samples from flood zones, dam breaches, or industrial chemical spills for assessing water contamination and chemical hazards, and an intake nozzle 113 with a suction unit 114, to determine airborne dust and particulate matter in disaster zones.
