MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611083497 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on July 07, 2026, for Autonomous Deodorizing Toilet Flushing System And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Jitendra Kumar; and Dr. Rachna.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: An AI-integrated deodorizing toilet flushing apparatus and method are disclosed. The system comprises an intelligent housing (101) with integrated sensor fusion including a hydrostatic pressure transducer (113) and an optical turbidity sensor (115), a dual-chamber container (103) for distinct chemical storage, and a MEMS-based ultrasonic atomizer nozzle (105) for high-precision, micro-liter dispensing. A micro-controller (111) executes adaptive Edge-AI logic to control a servo-actuated lever (108) for flush valve (104) operation based on real-time fluid dynamics and usage density. The system provides a significant by decoupling user force from actuation, optimizing water and chemical consumption via a PID control loop, and providing IoT-based predictive maintenance via a LoRaWAN communication module (114). The system further includes an energy-harvesting turbine (116) for autonomous power generation and a non-contact capacitive level sensor (106). The invention ensures maximal aerosol neutralization and air quality control in high-traffic sanitation environments while enabling data-driven facility management.
