MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641096553 A) filed by Mr. Syam Kumar Kunchapu on August 10, 2026, for Autonomous Data Governance Platform Using Ai For Regulatory Compliance Automation.
Inventor includes Mr. Syam Kumar Kunchapu.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an autonomous data governance platform using artificial intelligence for automated regulatory compliance across heterogeneous enterprise data environments. The platform continuously discovers data assets, classifies structured and unstructured data, and generates a dynamic governance graph associating data assets with users, owners, applications, processing purposes, jurisdictions, data flows, retention requirements, and regulatory obligations. A regulatory intelligence engine converts applicable regulatory provisions into machine-readable compliance conditions, while a compliance decision engine determines compliance states and contextual risk scores. An autonomous policy orchestration engine selects and enforces governance controls, including access restriction, masking, encryption, deletion, retention modification, transfer restriction, and approval workflows. A verification engine validates remediation outcomes, and an audit evidence engine generates traceable compliance records. Verified outcomes are fed back into governance logic to enable adaptive policy refinement and continuous autonomous compliance management.
