Abstract: An autonomous cooperative drone system for agricultural-field protection comprises a surveillance drone and at least one action drone. The surveillance drone includes a flight controller (1), microcontroller (2), GPS module (3), buzzer (4), safety switch (5), propellers (6), gas sensor (17) and camera module (18), and continuously follows a spiral surveillance path while detecting fire, smoke, weed or pest events. The microcontroller (2) processes camera and gas-sensor inputs, determines event type and associates GPS coordinates for wireless transmission to the action drone. The action drone includes a relay module (7), water pump (8), motors (9), nozzle (10), storage tank (11), landing gear (12), lithium-ion battery (13), drone battery (14), ESCs (15) and power module (16), and autonomously navigates to the received coordinates. Water or pesticide is selectively discharged through the nozzle (10), while surveillance continues uninterrupted.
