Abstract: An autonomous algae culture air purification device, comprising a cylindrical housing 101 with a hopper 102 for receiving environmental water, a water filtering unit filters the incoming water and transfer filtered water into a sealed box 201, a UV C LEDs 204 sterilises the filtered water by neutralising microbial contaminants, an electronic nozzle 205 dispenses sterilised water on each of the tray 206 for sustaining growth of algae culture, an electronic dispensing means 210 dispenses measured quantities of the nutrient concentrate into a mixing container 212, a motorised stirrer 213 to homogenise the nutrient solution, an electronic spout to dispense the prepared nutrient, a first pump 216 to draw ambient air and pass the air towards the filtering unit 215 that removes particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, and gaseous contaminants, and a second pump 217 evacuates oxygen enriched exhaust air from the cultures and directs air through an outlet for release.
