The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system (100) and a method (500) of aquatic vegetation management. The system (100) performs autonomous detection, localization, navigation, and removal of water hyacinth from a water surface. A vision module (104) captures images of the water surface for detecting and spatially locating water hyacinth. The system (100) maps detected water hyacinth to a grid and computes a path toward the detected vegetation. One or more navigation sensors (106-8) provides position and heading information for guiding an autonomous surface vehicle (106). A propulsion assembly (106-2) generates thrust for movement along the computed path, while a steering or motor controller (106-4) regulates motor operation to control direction and speed. Upon reaching a predetermined proximity to the detected water hyacinth, the system (100) actuates a sweep-and-cut assembly (106-6) to mechanically cut the detected vegetation.
