MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641069197 A) filed by Unistring Tech Solutions Private Limited on June 02, 2026, for Autonomous Aerial Interception System With Deterministic Guidance Mode Transition And Terminal Engagement Mechanism.
Inventor includes K. Srinivasa Raju.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an autonomous aerial interception system (2) for detecting, tracking, and physically intercepting airborne targets (18). The system (2) comprises a radar subsystem (4), a vision subsystem (6), a communication module (8), a processing unit (10), and a flight control system (12) operatively coupled to an interceptor drone (16). The processing unit (10) performs radar-guided proportional navigation, activates a validation-window region (24), and executes deterministic target validation comprising geometric scaling verification, aspect-ratio filtering, motion predictability analysis, trajectory-correlation validation, and persistence validation. Upon successful validation, control authority is transferred to the vision subsystem (6), which performs image-space tracking. The processing unit (10) commands a terminal interception maneuver using maximum forward velocity, expansion-rate-based predictive correction, and automatic re-initiation of radar-guided pursuit when interception is unsuccessful.
