Abstract: Automatic waste segregation dustbin provides collection of waste that is then fed onto a conveyor belt and sensors including an Al camera, moisture sensor, and metal detector scan each item in real-time. The data are processed by a central control unit that controls robotic arms to separate waste. Vacuum suction is used to collect dry waste, high-pressure suction or grippers are used to collect wet waste and magnetic separation is used to collect metal waste. By combining Al, sensors, robotics, and smart control mechanisms, the system provides an efficient, reliable, and scalable approach to waste segregation. This technology has the potential, it is useful for all cities and rural development and urban areas, industries, and public spaces, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.
