Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an intelligent speed management system for electric vehicles that automatically regulates vehicle speed based on roadside speed-limit signboard recognition and provides predictive speed breaker alerts. The system comprises a vision acquisition unit for capturing roadside signboards, a sign recognition module for extracting speed-limit information, a road- profile sensing unit for detecting approaching speed breakers, a central controller, and a motor control interface. The controller processes the detected speed-limit and road-condition data to generate speed-control commands for automatic regulation of vehicle speed and advance warning signals for the driver. Upon detecting a speed breaker, the system determines a safe traversal speed and provides visual, audio, or haptic alerts. By integrating traffic sign recognition, predictive road-anomaly detection, and electric vehicle motor control, the invention enhances road safety, improves passenger comfort, ensures compliance with traffic regulations, and enables efficient vehicle operation with reduced driver intervention.
