Abstract: ABSTRACT AUTOMATIC SOLAR PANEL CLEANING SYSTEM The present invention is related to an automatic solar panel cleaning system employing a rack and pinion mechanism for enhanced efficiency and reliability. The system is designed to address the challenge of maintaining optimal performance of solar panels by removing dust, dirt, and debris automatically. It consists of a strong framework installed above the solar panel array, housing a precision rack and pinion mechanism. The mechanism is driven by a motorized drive system, which facilitates controlled linear movement of a cleaning apparatus along the length of the solar panels. The cleaning apparatus, equipped with rotating brushes systematically cleans the surface of the panels, ensuring maximum light absorption and energy. The growing costs of electricity and concern for the environmental impact of fossil fuels, implementation of eco-friendly energy sources like solar power are rising. The main method for harnessing solar power is with arrays made up of photovoltaic (PV) panels.
