MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641079929 A) filed by Sona College Of Technology on June 29, 2026, for Automatic Sensor-Guided Paint Spraying Machine For Building Applications.

Inventor includes Gulshan Taj M.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an automatic sensor-guided paint spraying machine for building applications, designed to improve painting efficiency, surface finish quality, and operational safety. The machine comprises a mild steel structural frame, horizontal and vertical motorized movement mechanisms, a spray nozzle assembly, and an electronic control unit based on an Arduino UNO microcontroller. Ultrasonic sensors continuously monitor the distance between the spray nozzle and the wall surface to maintain optimum spraying conditions, while limit switches define boundary limits to prevent overspray. A Bluetooth communication module enables wireless control through a mobile application for adjusting spray speed, movement, and coverage area. The system reduces manual labour, paint wastage, and worker exposure to hazardous environments while ensuring uniform paint application. The invention provides a portable, low-cost, and efficient solution for residential and commercial building painting operations.
