Abstract: Abstract Automatic Seed Health Detection and Sorting System Based on Multi-Sensor Data Fusion and Machine Learning This invention presents a hardware-software integrated system for the non-destructive, automated health classification and sorting of seeds. The system utilizes a conveyor belt to pass seeds through a multi-sensor array consisting of a capacitive moisture sensor, an HX711- amplified micro load cell for weight, and a high-resolution camera with shadowless LED ring lighting. A central microcontroller (e.g., Raspberry Pi 4) aggregates the physical data and extracts complex visual features, including color, shape, and GLCM textures. This multi-dimensional data is processed through a localized machine learning algorithm to calculate a Seed Index value. Based on this value, the microcontroller actuates a micro servo motor to physically bifurcate and sort the seeds into "healthy" and "unhealthy" collection bins.
