Abstract: ABSTRACT AUTOMATIC MAPPING OF WINDING COORDINATES THROUGH SPECIALIZED MECHANISM IN A MOTORCYCLE TYRE The present invention relates to a method and system for automatic mapping of winding coordinates in a motorcycle tyre. The system includes a winding 5 coordinates apparatus (10) having a memory (15), a HMI controller (16) and a Programmable logic controller (PLC) (17). The HMI controller (16) displays a user interface to receive drum segment section data and winding sections data for a winding pattern, which are stored in the memory (15). The PLC (17) is connected to the memory (15) and HMI controller (16) and determines the winding 10 coordinates for the winding pattern based on the drum segment section data and the winding sections data. The steel chord (18) is wound based on the winding coordinates using a servo system (8). The present invention provides an efficient and accurate method for mapping winding coordinates in a motorcycle tyre.
