Abstract: ABSTRACT Automatic High Beam Control System For Vehicles The present invention relates to an automatic headlight beam control system utilizing a dual detection mechanism for managing vehicle headlight switching during nighttime driving. The System comprising of optical receiving enclosure (O), Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) positioned within the optical receiving enclosure (O) and configured to detect incident beam headlights (R), switching circuit comprising a current limiting resistor (C) and a switching transistor (4), relay assembly electrically connected to the switching transistor (4), motor (2) having a shaft (3) and electrically connected to the relay assembly, and glare blocking element (1) mechanically coupled to the shaft (3). The control unit processes information about light intensity, position, and distance to make switching decisions within 20-30 seconds. This cost-effective solution enhances road safety by eliminating manual intervention while preventing glare discomfort for oncoming traffic, particularly effective in challenging conditions like curved roads and hilly terrain.
