Abstract: AUTOMATIC CAR PARKING TOLL GATE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF ABSTRACT An automatic car parking toll gate system (100) is disclosed. The system (100) comprising a vehicle detection unit (102) to detect a vehicle approaching a parking facility; a vehicle identification unit (104) to identify the vehicle; a parking-space sensing unit (106) to detect vacancy and occupancy of parking space; a payment unit (108) to process a parking fee; a barrier control unit (110); and a processing unit (116). The system (100) is configured to detect and identify the approaching vehicle based on information received from the vehicle detection unit (102) and the vehicle identification unit (104); determine vacancy of a parking space, for parking of the identified vehicle, based on information received from the parking- space sensing unit (106); record an entry time and an exit time; determine a parking duration and calculate the corresponding parking fee; receive a payment status from the payment unit (108); and control the barrier control unit (110).
