MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202644073831 A) filed by Balasubramaniam Senthilkumar; and Kit - Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute Of Technology, Coimbatore - on June 15, 2026, for Automatic Board Cleaner (abc).
Inventors include Dr. B. Senthilkumar; Dr. R. Gowrishankar; and Dr. K. Sampathkumar.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: Board cleaning is regular requirement of any user always. Cleaning the black board (Chalk dust) and white board (marker impression) manually done with the help of suitable duster. But this causes unnecessary time wastage, dust issue and improper cleaning. A new method of cleaning the board dusts automatically has been proposed and tested. The proposed Automatic Board Cleaner (ABC) has microcontroller-based motor-controlled support. And it has moving frame with duster/brush for cleaning. It also has battery backup for handling the ABD even when no power supply. It also has belt assembly for the effective and smooth cleaning of surfaces (boards with both chalk and marker). Further, the motor assembly and the moving frame has been separated in this new invention. This allows the cleaner work independently and effectively. This invention is low cost, user friendly and reliable one for any organization.
