Abstract: An automated wooden plank marking device, comprising an extendable rectangular frame 101 positioned over an edge of an wooden plank that is to be marked, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 102 is arranged over the frame 101 with a laser sensor to determine dimensions of the edge of the plank, a plate 105 configured with the frame 101 and arranged with a two-axis lead screw arrangement 106 to provide translation to a marking tool 107 configured with the arrangement 106 and position in contact with the edge via the laser sensor and a chamber 108 stored with marking ink arranged over the frame 101 and linked with the tool 107 via a flexible pipe, multiple motorized pop out balls 109 are arranged over inner periphery of the blocks 103, provide translation to the frame 101 over the edge.
