Abstract: An automated wooden log cutting device, comprising a platform 101 positioned over a fixed surface in proximity to wooden logs stack, a motorized conveyor 102 installed over platform 101 to translate and position the placed wooden log in proximity to a cutting blade 103 attached with platform 101, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 104 installed over platform 101 determines dimensions of log, a pair of robotic grippers 105 installed over platform 101 to align the log in front of blade 103, a sensing module installed with each of grippers 105 monitor distance and position of log along with pressure applied over log, a hydraulic pusher 106 installed over platform 101 via a shaft to push log towards blade 103 to cut log and a proximity sensor installed over pusher 106 monitors distance between pusher 106 and blade 103.
