MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641085410 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on July 13, 2026, for Automated Water Mist Sprayer Sliding Carriage For Mushroom Cultivation Storage.

Inventors include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr Ramya Mohan.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: An automated water mist sprayer sliding carriage assembly manages microclimatic zones within mushroom cultivation houses. The system includes parallel floor sliding rails (1) that receive a motorized platform carrying vertical spray nozzle holding poles (2). A slider carriage drive motor (3) turns traction wheels (4) to move the carriage along the tracks. A mist sprayer nozzles array (5) is spaced vertically along the poles to deliver atomized moisture supplied from an onboard water storage tank (6) through a water passing pipe line (7). A proximity sensor (8) tracks boundary limits, while a temperature and moisture sensor (9) monitors atmospheric levels. A control interface (10) processes sensor inputs to automatically initiate traversal and misting when moisture drops below programmed thresholds.
