Abstract: An automated water collecting and dispensing device for inclined roof, comprising a semi-cylindrical shaped extendable member 101 attached with edge of an inclined roof via a pair of motorized clamps 102 for collecting water running over roof, an imaging unit 103 installed over member 101 determines length of edge, a motorized drawer arrangement 104 integrated in member 101 extend/retract member 101, a semi-cylindrical shaped frame 105 attached over member 101 and configured with multiple links 106 via a pair of motorized sliding units 107 installed over lateral sides of frame 105 prevent passage of waste within member 101, the sliding units 107 regulate intermediate distance of links 106 as per dimensions of waste, a motorized ball and socket joint 108 installed between each gripper and member 101 tilt member 101 to dispense water over ground via a motorized iris lid 109 installed with one end of member 101.
