MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511007999 A) filed by Sanskriti University on January 30, 2025, for Automated Wallpaper Scrapping Device.
Inventors include Satya Prakash Yadav; and Neeraj Chaurasia.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: An automated wallpaper scrapping device, comprises of a platform 101 installed with a display panel 102 to provide input command regarding removal of the wallpaper, an imaging unit 103 determines three dimensional mapping of the wall, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 104 provides movement to the platform 101, a plate 105 by means of a vertical linear beam lifting arrangement 106 to position the plate in alignment with the specified portion, a heating unit to generate steam of the mixture, a robotic link 110 to extend and position a flap 108 in contact with the specified portion, an electromagnetically operated valve 112 to release the generates steam for loosening the wallpaper of the specified portion, a robotic arm for scrapping the loosened wallpaper via a wedge shaped scrapper tool, and a vacuum based cleaning unit to extract all the scraped pieces of wallpaper.
