Abstract: An automated trenching device, comprises of an inverted U-shaped frame 101 developed to be positioned by a user on a ground surface and configured with a pair of caterpillar wheels 102 for providing movement to the frame 101 on the surface, a touch interactive display panel 103 installed on the platform to provide input command regarding trenching along with specifying depth and width of trench, a motorized drawer arrangement 104 to alter the size of the frame 101, a digging arrangement 105 for digging the trench, an imaging unit 107 installed on the frame 101 for detecting positioning of the digging arrangement 105 on the surface, a pair of Archimedes blade 108 for transferring the dug oil away from the trench to prevent falling of the dug soil into the trench again, and a GPR module 110 installed on the frame 101 to detect presence of underground rocks.
