Abstract: An automated transmission line conductors splicing device comprising of a platform 101 configured with an elongated bar 102 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, multiple telescopic legs 103 are installed underneath the platform 101 for providing stability to platform 101 over ground surface, a display panel 104 installed on the platform 101 to provide input commands regarding splicing of two transmission line conductors, an imaging unit 105 installed on the platform 101 for capturing and processing images of surroundings, a U-shaped plate 106 installed on apex portion of the bar 102 for engaging a first transmission line conductor over which splicing is to be done, a telescopically operated gripper is installed on the plate 106 to grip the free-end and engage free-end of the second transmission line conductor with member 109.
