Abstract: An automated swimming pool protection device, comprises of a pair of U-shaped frames 101 having a pair of horizontal member 102 and a vertical member 103, installed on lateral sides of a swimming pool, an imaging unit 104 to determine dimensions of pool, a plurality of rods 105 arranged in a meshed manner with each of frame, a motorized sliding unit 106 for deploying rods 105 for covering pool to prevent individuals from getting into pool, motorized sliding unit 106 for translating rods 105 over water surface of the pool, a motorized roller 107 coiled with a sheet 108, to rotate for unwrapping an appropriate length of the sheet 108, a motorized slider 109 for translating the unwrapped sheet 108 for covering the swimming pool for protecting the pool’s water from heating and contamination and to collect the rain water, a UV filter 110 to purify the collected rain water.
