Abstract: An automated stirring device for semi-solid food items comprises of a platform 101 positioned on a fixed surface in proximity to a jar filled with solidified semi-solid food item, a user-interface inbuilt in a computing unit is wirelessly associated with device for enabling a user to give input commands, a microcontroller wirelessly linked with computing unit that processes input commands, an artificial imaging unit 102 mounted on platform 101 for capturing and processing multiple images of jar, an elongated helical-shaped member 103 installed with platform 101 via an L-shaped telescopically operated link 104, a BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motor 105 coupled with member 103 for rotating member 103, a viscosity sensor arranged on member 103 for detecting viscosity of food item, a speaker mounted on the platform 101 for notifying the user to collect the jar.
