Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an integrated device for controlling an automatic steering wheel lock in vehicle. The device includes a sensor unit that detects the weight and presence of an occupant, utilizing various sensor types such as pressure, weight, infrared, ultrasonic, or capacitive sensors. The sensor unit is connected to steering wheel lock mechanism that engages or disengages based on data received from the sensor. A control unit manages the operation of the system, automatically unlocking the steering wheel lock when the occupant's weight exceeds a predefined threshold or when occupant is present, and locking it when no occupant or insufficient weight is detected. The system also allows dynamic adjustment of the weight threshold via a mobile application or vehicle interface. Additional features include remote monitoring, alerts, manual override option, integration with the vehicle’s ignition system, and backup power supply to ensure operation during vehicle battery failure.
